Hello! My name is Sarah Blackwell, and I am a first grade teacher here at Tellico Plains Elementary School. I am so grateful to teach at a school which strives to support our students in their academic careers. I attended Lee University where I student taught 2nd grade in Cleveland, TN and 4th grade in Kotzebue, Alaska. I taught third grade in Chattanooga, TN for a year until I moved here to TPES. In first grade we work on learning sight words, memorizing math facts, and creating a safe community to grow.
