Ms. Jada Parks
Educational Background:
I graduated from TPHS in 2003. From there, I completed my core classes, along with several psychology classes, at Cleveland State Community College. I have worked in with the Monroe County Board of Education since 2012 as a substitute teacher, part-time Pre-K assistant, and full-time special education assistant. I started back to college with WGU in 2020 and began working on my Bachelors in Elementary Education(K-5) and Special Education(K-12). I graduated from WGU in June of 2024, after completing my student teaching in special education at TPJHS and elementary education here at TPES. I began working as the exceptional education intervention teacher in August of 2024. I am currently working on my Master's through WGU and hope to graduate with it in the spring of 2026.
Personal Background:
I am a life long resident of Tellico Plains. Family is very important to me. I have two wonderful children, Tarah and Trevor. Tarah is a senior at TPHS, while Trevor is a junior. During my down time, I love to spend time with my family and I also really love to bake! I also enjoy reading a good book, drawing, painting, and crocheting. My family and I enjoy spending our summertime in the mountains or on the beach.
