Welcome to my webpage! I have been employed with Monroe County Schools since 1986. I worked 23 years as an assistant at Tellico Plains Elementary School. I decided in the year 2000 to go back to school to seek my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade and I currently teach 3rd grade.

 

I currently serve as a 3rd grade team member, Yearbook Advisor, Calendar Committee, Data Team Member and Leadership Team Member. My hobbies include reading, kayaking, camping, and spending time with family and friends. I am actively involved in my church where I serve as Sunday School Secretary.

 

I am married to Barry West and we have two sons, Brandon (Kristin), Nicholas (Emily),

5 grandchildren Ryleigh, Carver, Colton, Reid and Jude
