I began my teaching career in 2004 here at Tellico Plains Elementary School.  As a Tellico Plains native, there is nothing that I am more proud of than helping educate children from my hometown.  I spent the first fourteen years teaching fourth grade science and math, but I was given the opportunity to become the physical education teacher in 2018.  I feel blessed to serve in that capacity because I can now be a part of every student’s education at TPES.  I am married to Debbie Plemons, who is also a teacher at Tellico Plains Elementary.  We have one son, Jackson.  In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, mountain biking, spending time with family and friends, floating the river, playing an occasional video game, and sitting by the fire with a cup of coffee.
