My Bio

Background: I am from Ten Mile, Tn. I attended Midway High School and graduated in 2005. After high school I went to Tennessee Wesleyan on a softball scholarship and received a B.S in Elementary Ed K-6. I am married to a Coker Creek native and we have 2 wonderful boys. When I am not getting my boys to sports events, I enjoy spending time with family, singing, hiking, traveling, and watching sports. 

 

Educational Career:  I started my career in 2010 at Sweetwater Elementary School teaching 4th grade. While there I also taught several years in 3rd grade. In 2022, I moved to Tellico Elementary to teach 1st grade and coach TPJH girls' basketball team. I currently teach a 1st/2nd grade split. My goal as an educator is to teach and equip young minds to be successful citizens. I pray my students always feel loved and appreciated.
