Mrs. Cordell's Class

 

Hi! My name is Hannah Cordell, and I teach 1st grade here at Tellico Plains Elementary School.  I received my degree in Early Childhood General and Special Education (PK-3) from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2018. Following graduation, I moved to California to teach preschool for a year and to try something new.  After realizing how sweet home is and how great of an opportunity it would be to teach in the same area I attended school, I moved home to take this amazing position.  This will be my fifth year teaching here, and I am so excited to see what this year will hold.

 

I love traveling to new places, crafting, and spending time with my family.  I have a fantastic husband, a silly 8-year-old son, and an adventurous 2-year-old daughter, and am an aunt to 7 sweet kiddos and love watching them all learn and grow.  In the same way, I love the opportunity I have within my own classroom to watch my students learn new reading and math skills and grow to be better individuals as a whole every single day.  We are a family in my classroom.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at any time.
