Mrs. Stinson's Class

I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1965.  I have two wonderful, older sisters. My family moved to Naples, Florida when I was 2 years old. I married my wonderful husband in 1985 and we have always shared a strong love for animals and helping them.

After high school I went to nursing school and eventually became a renal technician. In 1994 I made a career change to something more cheery and decided to go back to school to become a teacher. I worked as a teacher aide in an Elementary School in Naples, Florida while attending college classes in the evenings. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with my Elementary Education Bachelor degree in 2000 and got my first teaching position that same year as a 4th grade teacher in Naples, Florida.

In 2004 my husband and I moved from Naples, Florida to Tellico Plains, Tennessee. I was hired to fill a long term interim teaching position at TPES in their K/1 multi-aged classroom. In 2005 I got a long term teaching position at TPJHS as their 6th grade Math teacher. In 2014 I transferred to TPES and joined their awesome 4th grade team where I've been happily teaching ever since.
Hello to all my students and parents,
Please feel free to reach out to me through my email or Dojo at anytime this year when you have a question or concern. I'm here for you and we are all in this together.
Most Sincerely,
Mrs. Stinson
