AR Award Winners & AR Fun Day Pictures

Students at Tellico Plains Elementary School wrapped up their Accelerated Reader (AR) program for the school year.  Students read and tested on thousands of books as part of the AR program.  Several students earned 50 or more AR points in the AR program, which means they had to read and pass a test on an average minimum of 100 or more books.  Also, the school sponsored a contest in which students got their name put into an AR Drawing every time each student made a 100 percent on an AR test.  At the end of the school year, one boy's name and one girl's name was drawn from the AR Drawing to win a brand new bicycle.

Students also got to attend AR Fun Day in the gym.  Students had several inflatable bounce houses and slides to play on as a reward for meeting various AR goals for the school year.  To see pictures from AR Fun Day, please visit our Photo Gallery or click on this link https://tpes.monroe.k12.tn.us/apps/albums/school/0/329243/0?uREC_ID=0&backTitle=&backLink=
