Laura Beth Johnson - 4th Grade

My name is Laura Beth Johnson, I live in Tellico Plains. I graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I obtained my Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Technological University in 2005. I attended Trevecca University and received a Media Specialist degree in 2013. I am married and have two sons.  We have a dog named Chaco, and two cats named Si-Bot and Petunia. We love being outside! We fish, hike, take care of our property, and we love to build fires on chilly nights and spend time together. I love to read, work in our garden, take care of my flowers, and walk for exercise. I teach 4th Grade at Tellico Plains Elementary. I have spent many years teaching Kindergarten,1st and 2nd grade as well as serving Tellico Plains Junior High School as their Media Specialist from 2013-2016.  Most of my teaching career has been spent at Tellico Plains Elementary. I love living and teaching in my own community.
